TOPIC 1.16 Silicon-based alloys as anodes for Li-ion batteries.

I obtained my bachelor's degree in Physics Engineering from the Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan in Mexico. I completed my master degree in MESC+ within a joint Erasmus program in France, Poland and Slovenia.

I became interested in materials science and energy, so I applied for the DESTINY project concerning Silicon anode materials for LIBs.

From this experience I have been able to develop different skills while working in the battery field. I am in the University of Montpellier and doing a secondment in CEA, Grenoble.

Being a Destiny MSCA fellow allows me to learn from different experts around the world, form a solid network and open the opportunity to work in the energy industry afterwards.
