Valorising Wadsley-Roth FeNb11O29 as Li-ion battery high rate negative electrode material

With a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry education, I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful to have had the opportunity to join the EM MESC+ Master’s program and now the DESTINY PhD program—both of which have been truly transformative milestones in my academic journey. My PhD project is based at two institutes, ICGM and ILL, and focuses on developing high-rate materials for Li-ion batteries, which show promising properties for fast-charging electric mobility and other high-power applications.
DESTINY has given me the privilege of working closely with inspiring supervisors and experienced senior scientists, from whom I learned valuable research skills and experimental techniques. Through DESTINY training schools, annual progress meetings and joint events, I have been able to grow both personally and academically while building meaningful connections within a robust and dynamic research community.
