Nb-containing phosphates as high-power negative electrodes for batteries

I hold a BS-MS dual degree in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati, India. During my master’s studies, I had the valuable opportunity to work on energy storage materials and their applications, which sparked a strong interest in the field and motivated me to pursue a PhD focused on similar systems. This led me to apply for the DESTINY programme—an initiative I regard as an excellent platform for young, motivated researchers to enhance their scientific knowledge and skills through interdisciplinary collaboration, international workshops, and interactions with experts in the field. The opportunity to conduct research at both LRCS (France) and UMICORE (Belgium) has enabled me to bridge fundamental understanding with industrial perspectives. DESTINY has provided a unique and dynamic environment to develop expertise and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of energy storage technologies.
